your voice matters in our workplace

At Voices of Our City Choir, we believe that diverse perspectives guide our organization and mission, fuel creativity, and create opportunity for growth. We are dedicated to fostering a work environment that promotes equal opportunities for leadership development across the entire team. We are passionate about empowering historically underrepresented colleagues—people of color, women, and the LGBTQ+ community—by coaching, mentoring, and supporting them to reach their highest possible success and achieve their greatest potential.

we take care of our team

Because we provide in-person services and programming to our neighbors impacted by homelessness, our team works primarily together on-site. We strive to make our office a fun and comfortable environment. We provide a team breakfast weekly, a paid lunch hour, every other Friday off (and shorter Fridays the weeks we’re in). We are also right across from Balboa Park for mid-day breaks in the sunshine, and a very short walk to delicious eateries!
