Sofia supports Voices' team and choir by coordinating the choir's rehearsals and performances.

Sofia has been with Voices since 2022. Prior to that, she was an activist for LGBT Equality for over 7 years.  Sofia has spent a great deal of her life in the theatre as an actor, director & stage manager, she graduated from Emerson College with a Masters in Directing.

 

Amongst the theatres that Sofia has worked at are The Old Globe, SD Repertory Theatre, Lamb’s Players Theatre, The American Repertory Theatre & The Huntington Theatre. 

 

She is grateful to be on the Voices Team serving the unsheltered community in San Diego and believes that the power of creativity has the ability to transform people's trajectory into hope & confidence.  "It's a great joy to witness this through the Voices Choir members." she shares.
